Vaccination programme for children

Different countries have different vaccines in their immunisation schedule. In Finland all children get protection against 13 different vaccine preventable diseases. There are also vaccines that are only recommended and available to certain risk groups. In the western world the schedules are typically quite close to each other, though differences also occur.

In our clinics we serve families coming from different countries and individually plan vaccination schedules according to needs. At our clinics we have a broad selection of vaccines, also those that are not in the Finnish national programme.

Vaccines your child might need:

  • Hepatitis B
  • Hepatitis A
  • Meningococcus ACWY or B
  • Dtap-IPV (difteria, tetanus, pertussis, polio)
  • Pneumococcus PCV15
  • Varicella (chicken pox)
  • HPV, Human papillomavirus
  • TBE, Tick borne encephalitis
